Small Gods Brewing Co. is a new family-owned and -operated brewery and taproom designed to fit into the community of Sidney by the Sea. We take inspiration from the world of literature and host monthly events, including author readings, literary trivia nights, and a Book Club. Our Taproom has a selection of inclusive books for kids and we strive to provide a family-friendly atmosphere where everyone is welcome to stop by, satiate their hunger with an artisan sandwich, and have a beer with friends, family, or with their favourite book. Our core purpose is to create a safe, sustainable, and inclusive community where people thrive through food, drink, and literature. Our values drive our purpose, provide the foundation of our operations, and inform our code of conduct.

There is a great quote that says “A pub is a poor man’s university.” In many pubs, ideas are shared, stolen, improved, bastardized and, more often than not, forgotten.
A pub has always been where the community gathers to celebrate the good times and commiserate the bad. A pub really is just an extension of our living room, and as such, we want people to feel welcome like they are at our house, so do us a favour and keep your feet off the furniture…

Swans Pub is a place where life happens. A place where everyone could know your name. A place where the beer flows like wine. A pub worthy of the historic building’s roots.
A food program focused on the dishes we crave and that allows us to satisfy our true appetite.

Driven by nostalgia… And the Rolling Stones.

Swans Brewery is a hands-on facility where blood, sweat, and beers are part of the everyday cycle. It’s a brewer’s brewery, where beer is made by walking, crouching, turning, carrying, digging, scrubbing, lifting, sweeping, laughing, spraying, taping, hauling, rolling, twisting, delivering, speaking, touring, tasting, tightening, and loving.

Hoyne Brewing Co. is a family-owned brewery that believes in people. It is at the core of everything we do. We like to think of our team and community as our extended family—and what better way to celebrate than sharing a beer made from the finest ingredients and a deep love of the craft.

It’s amazing what some beer nerds can accomplish with a little creativity and a welding torch. Weathering the occasional catastrophic beer flood, imploding tanks, and a few address changes, we’ve taken it all in stride. We’ve always kept it unconventional in all our approaches to craft brewing, malting, and distilling as we constantly explore the craft beer frontier guided by unbridled creativity and unwavering attention to quality. At Phillips Brewing, we find inspiration through fermentation.

Certified beer nerds!

Île Sauvage is French for “Wild Island” and is a dual reference to the wilderness of Vancouver Island and our main focus on Belgian-style wild ales and sour beers. We make use of Kveik, Lactobacillus, and Brettanomyces fermentations, as well as secondary fermentations with fruit.
Our brewery consists of a combination of stainless steel tanks and an assortment of oak-ageing vessels. We offer a number of beers produced using sour worting methods, but we also release long-term blended, oak-aged sour beers.
Our main goal as a brewery is to release beers that excite us and our palates; therefore, a lot of the beers make use of fermentation-derived flavours, dry-hopping, and local fruit refermentations.
Santé!

At Herald Street Brew Works we aim to brew with authenticity; our priorities in brewing are quality, integrity and education. Rather than commit to a set of core recipes, here we choose to explore and evolve recipes to continue to enrich the craft beer community we know and love. Almost every seat in our tasting room has a view of our towering double stacked bright tanks. 10 in total. Our taps draw directly from those tanks, giving you ‘tank fresh’ beer with every pour. We surrounded ourselves with people who are passionate about great beer, and we want to share that love with you. We aim to provide you with the freshest beer experience possible.

Canada’s first purpose-built gastro brewpub brings you Victoria’s largest selection of traditionally crafted brews and pub fare with a local twist.  A covered & heated waterfront patio, a dining & taproom with a view, a place to spend the night, growler fills and menu of local seasonal fare makes Spinnakers an essential taste of Victoria.

Spinnakers has led the renaissance of craft brewing. As artisan brewers, our philosophy is that great beer goes best with great food. Our brewery is a source of ingredients and inspiration for the food we create, a fact that makes Victoria's only gastro brewpub deliciously unique.

After some food and drink, visit our provisions store and pick up your own Growler!

Our beer is inspired by centuries of European brewing tradition and propelled forward by Canadian passion and creativity. Our beautiful German brewhaus allows us to implement the most challenging brew methods into our processes from step-mashes to decoctions. These methods are what give our beer unmatched balance and depth. The newest and most exciting addition to the brewery is our barrel-aged sour program.
